What this site is and is not
Tidewater Tech Match helps people choose computers, laptops and parts and publishes a comparison of the stores that sell them. This website does not sell hardware or take payments. We are not a retailer, manufacturer, repair shop or technical support provider, and we do not install, repair or remove software or viruses. The stores named here are independent of us.
Our help
Requesting a callback is free and creates no obligation. If we ever offer a paid service, we describe it and its fee in writing before starting, and begin only when you agree. Our recommendations are research support. We cannot promise that any product will suit your needs, be in stock or sell at any price.
Information on this site
The comparison summarizes what the stores publish and what independent sources report, plus our opinions. Each page shows when we last checked. Return rules, fees and prices change and can differ by product and seller, so confirm with the store before you buy.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site, send spam or unlawful content through our forms, try to gain unauthorized access or disrupt the service.
Content and trademarks
The text, layout and design belong to us or our licensors; you may link to pages and quote short excerpts with credit. Names such as Newegg, Micro Center, Best Buy, B&H and Amazon belong to their owners and appear only to identify the stores discussed.
No warranty; limits on liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for purchases you make in reliance on this site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update them; continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
